Our competition season exists due to the hundreds of volunteers who help set up, judge, referee, reset fields, provide lunch, and more! Thank you for your consideration in helping TUSD Robotics provide such incredible learning opportunities for students.
This season we need judges for virtual competitions and our two tournaments in April. Training materials and virtual support will be provided to help teach you how to judge each type of competition.
Referees and Robot Inspectors
Referees and robot inspectors will need to study the game rules and understand the criteria and constraints for robots to be eligible to play the official game of the season. Training materials and videos will be provided as well as in-person support the day of the event.
Please complete the Google Form above if you are interested in referring or inspecting robots for the 2020-2021 season. This will only be needed for our tournaments in April.
Support Crew and EmCee
We have a variety of positions for all ages including set up / breakdown, field resetting, food service, MeCee, judges interview manager, competition area manager, and more. All training will be done on site as needed. This season, we will only need these types of volunteers for our two April tournaments.
