The 2020- 2021 competition season will be much different than in years past due to the Covid-19 pandemic. All activities will need to comply with CDC and California state regulations for in-person school activities. As California begins the process of reopening schools, special consideration must be given to those that offers programs in career and technical education (CTE). If you would like to review the health and safety guidance for CTE programs, please review the Stronger Together: Career Technical Education guidelines for reopening.
This season, TUSD Robotics will not be hosting any official VEX tournaments that will qualify teams for State or World Championship events. Instead, we will internally host a variety of online competitions to continue building our capacity with designing and programing robots.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the many changes to our season, the school year, and the way that we interact in person to help keep everyone safe and healthy.

2020-2021 Competition Season
The 2020-2021 TUSD Robotics competition season will take place in three phases. Not all schools are required to participate in all three phases and coaches may opt out of meeting in person. Our intention is to provide choice and virtual options for both students and teachers to help accommodate the needs of everyone.
