The TUSD Robotics season shifted to virtual learning for the 2020-2021 school year. We held several online challenges during Phase 1 (August through December) and Phase 2 (January through March) to keep students learning and moving forward in their understanding of how to use the engineering design process to develop ideas for robots to build to play the official VEX games of the season.  They also created video tutorials, websites to promote their programs, built virtual robots using CAD (computer-aided design) software, and competed in online coding competitions.

Each online challenge award was divided into categories based on grade level. Inspire Awards were also awarded to teams and individuals who demonstrated excellence, dedication, and/or sparked inspiration.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to all the coaches who continue to support and teach TUSD Robotics students during this unprecedented season! A special thank you to the CSUF and Chapman University pre-service secondary science teachers for serving as judges.
