Graduating 8th grade and high school TUSD Robotics students are the backbone of the TPSF Summer Academy Robotics Program and we are looking for mentors!
We are getting ready for virtual robotics this summer which will include learning how to document the engineering design process in notebooks for the new game of the season. We will also be using a new virtual coding program called VEXcode VR for 1.0 and 1.5 students and either Robot Mesh or VexCode with C++ for 2.0 students.
There will be lessons posted each morning and then two Google Meet meetings each day that the mentors will join to support/teach or they will run a help desk (through Google Classroom) with office hours to help answer questions. If possible, some students will meet with Mrs. Williams at Orchard Hills to make video tutorials, run test code for students, and support the TUSD Robotics program.
